Is there a dress code?

No. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

Will I be singled out if I am new?

People will be friendly and will make you feel welcome, but we won’t do anything to make you feel awkward! Most Sundays, there are people just like you who are checking out MP Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible.

What about my kids?

We love kids and you are more than welcome to bring them with you to church!

What happens during the church service?

Our church service is a time for connecting with God and connecting with one another. Our music team leads us in singing; we pray to God; we read the Bible; and someone gives a talk unpacking and explaining the Bible. We do our best to explain what we’re doing along the way so that everyone knows what’s going on.

What happens after the church service?

Everyone is encouraged to stay for conversation after. This is a great time to get to know some of the great people at MP Church.

What if I don't know much about God?

Double Great! We would love you to come and discover more about Him. We’ll do our best to make you feel comfortable, explain what’s going on, and we’ll try to avoid using religious jargon. Nothing is as important as having a right relationship with God, and we want to help you figure out how that is possible through Jesus.

What church are you connected with?

MP Church is the mother church of two other campuses Aura Church and Eumundi Presbyterian (EP). We often describe ourselves as “One Church in Three Locations”. All three churches are collectively led by a team of elders, with representatives at each campus. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church of Queensland.
Do you still have questions?
